MY BACKGROUND
For more than 30 years, I worked inside a major global automotive manufacturer, supporting plants that built between 200,000 and 350,000 vehicles a year. At that scale, there’s no room for guesswork. Every part has a supplier, every supplier has a route to the plant, and every delivery has to arrive on time. When you’re moving that fast, “we’ll figure it out as we go” isn’t a plan. It’s a recipe for chaos.
THE PRINCIPLES
Now, I know you’re probably not building cars. But every business, big or small, runs on the same principles. Think about the businesses you rely on in your own life, like your favorite local shop or the service provider you’ve trusted for years. The ones that last pay attention to how they operate, not just what they sell.
They watch their cash flow closely.
They look for roadblocks before those roadblocks slow them down.
They make sure their overhead fits what they offer.
They regularly review what’s working and let go of what isn’t.
And they keep an eye on the competition, getting the right products and services to market at the right time.
Those habits can make or break a company.
THE PROBLEM
I’ve watched too many small business owners learn this the hard way. They invest in technology or people they don’t need yet, and when customers don’t magically appear, they scramble to change direction without ever having a plan they could actually carry out. It’s rarely because they lacked the tools. It’s because no one showed them how to build the foundation first.
If any of that sounds familiar, please know you’re not alone, and it’s not a sign you’re failing. Running a business can feel overwhelming and isolating, especially when you’re the one wearing every hat.
WHAT I BRING
Today, it’s tempting to lean on AI for quick answers to fill in the gaps. It can help, but it can’t replace real, hard-earned experience. Think of it like building a house. AI can help you sketch a few lines, but it can’t tell you why those lines belong where they do, especially if you don’t know the right questions to ask. You still need an architect.
That’s what I bring to the table. Over three decades of climbing the corporate ladder, I learned to spot problems before they become expensive, resolve process conflicts quickly, find creative ways around disruptions, and never lose sight of cost, quality, or the people doing the work.
You Don’t Have to Figure This Out Alone
If you’re ready to stop winging it and start building the foundation your business truly needs, I’d love to help. You don’t have to figure this out by yourself. Together, we’ll create a practical plan, at a price that makes sense for you, to grow your business and move you closer to the goals you’ve been dreaming about.
